Day-by-Day Itinerary
Fly 45 minutes from Addis Ababa to Dire Dawa. Meet your guide and take a scenic 1-hour mountain drive up to the historic walled city of Harar (1,885m). Check into a traditional Harari guesthouse. In the evening after dark, attend the famous nightly hyena feeding ceremony outside the Fallana Gate to observe the Hyena Man hand-feed wild spotted hyenas.
